Set in London during the Industrial Revolution in 1868, Syndicate features twin protagonists Jacob and Evie Frye who must wrest control of London from the Templars by building a street gang. The game introduced a grappling hook for faster traversal, horse-drawn carriage chases, and the ability to switch between both protagonists freely.
